Hello, I have been trying to install windows 7 professional on a new computer build, with all new components. I have checked, my motherboard is set to AHCI mode and I have changed sata cables multiple times to my hard drive. I downloaded the iso and have been installing it on an external disk drive. Also, my bios picks up my hard drive, only windows 7 doesn't, I am currently running my monitor through my graphics card. I have also inserted the motherboard cd when the error occurred and nothing happened. Please help.
My components are as follows; ASUS z87 sabertooth motherboard, Intel core i7 4770k, corsair cx600 psu, gigabyte geforce gtx 660, 2x4gb ripjaws ram, wd blue 1tb.
