Hello all,
In understanding that Mainstge 2 is not supported on Powermacs, I went ahead and installed the full Logic Studio 9 program on my G5 to see what the suite could (or couldn't) do. Perhaps this thread can be a central location for PPC issues in Logic 9.
As others have confirmed, The installation went w/o a hitch.
In testing Mainstage 2.0.1, I have problems with the G5 finding the tempo with the tap tempo. After one tap it shows a tempo of 634 in common time. After a short pause and another tap it shows a tempo of over 800. It never responds to the correct tempo. My Macbook Pro behaves as expected..no problems.
Secondly, when building a concert, I cannot place a parameter text control in layout mode without MS2 crashing.
If anyone has these issues or others, it would be nice to hear about them.
